WHO ARE THE KLEIN BEARKADETTES?
The Klein Bearkadettes are a spirited high school drill team composed of over 25 talented young women. Celebrating nearly six decades of excellence, we pride ourselves on our dedication to dance, teamwork, and school spirit. With our vibrant blue and gold colors, we aim to inspire our community through performances at school events, competitions, and parades. Our mission is to foster confidence and grace in each member as we create lasting memories and showcase our passion for dance.

MEET OUR DIRECTORS
Coach Dalfrey
Coach Dalfrey was a previous 4-year member of the Bearkadettes where she served as a Team Photographer, Lieutenant, & Lieutenant Major. After graduating Klein High, Coach Dalfrey attended Kilgore College where she was a Rangerette, a Swingster & a member of the prestigious Industry Dance Company. After leaving Kilgore College, Coach Dalfrey attended Texas State University where she received her degree in Dance Education.
Throughout her dance career, Coach Dalfrey has had the opportunity to work with many dance teams and studios. Before returning to Klein, Coach Dalfrey was an instructor and team manager for a local dance studio in New Braunfels, Tx. She will be entering her 11th year as a member of Crowd Pleasers Dance Company. Coach Dalfrey is also a guest instructor for the dance intensive, Intensify.
Coach Dalfrey previously served as the Klein Bearkadette Assistant Director and is excited to now start her 2nd year as Head Director. Coach Dalfrey has a passion for dance and is excited to carry on the tradition of excellence of the Klein Bearkadettes.
Coach Mendoza
Coach Mendoza graduated from Conroe High School where she served as Lieutenant for the Conroe High School Golden Girls team and a member of the GiGi Elite Team. After high school, Coach Mendoza attended Texas State University where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Education in 2021.
Within Texas State University’s Division of Dance, Coach Mendoza performed in multiple student and faculty choreographed pieces along with being selected as a touring company member of CIM TEYA and pre-professional company, Merge. As a company member, she had the privilege of working with national and international choreographers and hosting dance residencies for elementary through middle school students.
Previously, Coach Mendoza taught at the Conroe High School 9th Grade Campus where she assisted the Conroe High School Golden Girls and Goldies JV drill teams. Lastly, Coach Mendoza was the choreographer for the fine arts department musicials.
Coach Mendoza is ecstatic to be at Klein and part of the Bearkadette family for her 2nd year as the assistant director!
